What makes up the taxes and fees on your trip, and who charges each part.
Your airline fare may include mandatory taxes and charges set by governments and airport operators — for example, U.S. transportation taxes, Passenger Facility Charges, TSA security fees, and customs or immigration fees. These are collected as part of the airline fare through the airline's ticketing system, not by us.
Airlines may add surcharges and optional fees — such as fuel surcharges, baggage, seat selection, or priority boarding. These vary by airline, route, and fare type, are set by the airline, and are charged by the airline.
Separately from the airline fare, AirfareHub charges a service fee for quoting, coordinating, and supporting your booking. It is the only amount charged by us, is always disclosed before payment, and appears on your statement as "AIRFAREHUB SERVICE FEE."
International itineraries may carry additional foreign government taxes, departure fees, or tourism levies set by the destination country. These are part of the airline fare and are outside our control.
Taxes and airline surcharges can change without notice. The amounts shown in your quote reflect the figures available at the time of quoting; the final airline fare is confirmed at ticketing.
Government taxes within an airline fare are generally refundable only if the airline refunds the ticket under its fare rules. Our service fee follows our Refund & Cancellation Policy. See also our Fare Disclosure.
